Fan Art Imagines Kristen Wiig as Cheetah in WONDER WOMAN 2
Yesterday news broke that Kristen Wiig was in talks to take on the role of Cheetah in Wonder Woman 2. That news was met with a lot of backlash from fans and this fan art created by Boss Logic imagining Wiig in the role probably isn't going to help matters.
I love the fact that Cheetah is going to be the villain in the movie, but Kristen Wigg just seems like the wrong choice. It makes me wonder what kind of direction that they are going to take the character in. Charlize Theron was mentioned in the comments, and I love that idea a lot more! Hell, she would be even better than Emma Stone! Other actresses that a friend of mine said would be a better choice include Jessica Chastain, Noomi Rapace, or Lena Headey.
Wiig's casting isn't set in stone as she is only in discussions, but after all of the talk about her not being right for the role, maybe Warner Bros. and director Patty Jenkins will go in another direction. Or, maybe they'll actually double down on Wiig and offer her the role.
