Fan Art Shows What Angelina Jolie Could Look Like as Sersi in Marvel's THE ETERNALS

Last week we learned that Angelina Jolie was in discussions to join Marvel’s The Eternals. There was no information on who she would be playing, but most fans think that she will take on the lead role of Sersi, who can manipulate cosmic energy to grant herself virtual immortality, invulnerability, and reshape the molecules of other people or objects.

If Jolie was cast in the role of Sersi, it could work. I know some people don’t like the idea of Jolie joining the MCU, but Marvel has a great casting track record, so whatever role they end up casting her in, I’m sure it’ll work out just fine.

The Eternals was created by the legendary Jack Kirby, and the story is set millions of years ago “when the cosmic beings known as the Celestials genetically experimented on humans, creating the super-powered individuals as well as more villainous off-shoots known as the Deviants.”

“The story of The Eternals is set millions of years ago when the cosmic beings known as the Celestials genetically experimented on humans, creating the super-powered individuals as well as more villainous off-shoots known as the Deviants. The two groups went on to battle each other throughout history to see which would eventually become the ultimate race. The story involves the love story between Ikaris, a man fueled by cosmic energy, and Sersi, who relishes in moving amongst humans.”

The Eternals will be directed by Chloe Zhao, and the script comes from Matthew and Ryan Firpo.
