Fan-Made Poster Art for THE CALRISSIAN CHRONICLES Star Wars Trilogy

Thanks to artist Peter Stults, we have some cool fan poster art to share with you for a non-existent Star Wars trilogy titled The Calrissian Chronicles. The poster art imagines what these films might have been like had they been made back in the late 70s-early 80s.

I would have loved to see more of Lando’s story told! A lot of fans were hoping for a Solo spinoff film with actor Donald Glover. It’s a shame, but that will probably never happen. Obviously, these films would have worked best back in the day with Billy Dee Williams.

These poster get me super excited for something that will never be. But they still sure are cool and they make me happy. There are also a lot of cool Easter eggs to look for in the posters such as Jean-Claude Van Damme in the role of Darth Maul.

A few other things I’ll point out are that all three parts are directed by Michael Anderson who was the director of 1976’s Logan’s Run. The scripts for all three films are written by Empire Strikes Back’s director Irvin Kershner, which is incorrectly spelled “Kushner” in the poster. Then there’s Stanley Mann, the writer of films such as Omen II: DamienConan the Destroyer, and Firestarter. Then there’s the musical score by Peter Bernstein, a composer of a number of film and TV projects, but most relevantly, both of the made-for-TV Ewok Adventure movies.
