Fan Made Short Adds More Action To Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader's Lightsaber Fight in A NEW HOPE

Lightsaber fights have become one of the most anticipated and exciting moments in Star Wars movies today. That wasn't necessarily true in the original trilogy. Most of the laser-sword show downs in those three films were pretty basic for the most part. It wasn't until The Phantom Menace that lightsabers got a whole lot more exciting with the addition of Darth Maul and his red double-bladed lightsaber. Now when we go back and watch the very first lightsaber fight captured on film between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader in A New Hope, it seems painfully tame. (Watch it here to be reminded)

But now, thanks to some talented filmmakers on Youtube, this scene has gotten an injection of awesome and the choreography feels much more like the epic showdown both Anakin and Kenobi had in Revenge of the Sith.

So far, the creators have only released a short clip, with the whole scene to be released next year.  Here is a teaser for what they have in store.
