Fans Are Rallying to Get Marvel to Make a NIGHT MONKEY Movie in the Wake of Losing Spider-Man
Fans are going through the stages of grief after the news hit this week saying that Sony and Disney are parting ways, meaning Sony is withdrawing Spider-Man from its loan to the MCU. First we were angry, sad, in denial, having hope (which may be a good phase to stick with, as it’s been rumored that negotiations aren’t completely over), and now we have entered the bargaining phase. Fans have started coming to terms with the fact that maybe we won’t see Spider-Man again in the same way, but they’ve moved on to a new idea: Night Monkey!
In Spider-Man: Far From Home, Peter Parker was just trying to take a vacation and tell a girl he liked her, but then he had to defend his classmates and friends and the townspeople in the city they were visiting when a villain began to terrorize the people in the plaza. He didn’t want anyone to know he was the superhero that came to the rescue, because then everyone would put two and two together that Spider-Man shows up when disaster strikes, and Peter just happens to be M.I.A. So Peter’s fast-thinking friend Ned blurted out that it was the “Night Monkey” who saved the day, and it was a running joke throughout the movie. Only now, it’s the only shred we have left of our beloved character that still belongs to Marvel.
So now fans want to see it! Lets’s make a Night Monkey movie! It’s all over twitter, and they’ve even made a movie poster that I’ll include below. So… do you want to see this happen?!
