Fans Are Remaking CHEX QUEST and I'm Excited
When I was a kid, I was shocked and amazed when a computer game came in the box of Chex that my parents had bought. I loaded the puppy up and was amazed at how fun the game, called Chex Quest, was. It was Doom but with a kid-friendly breakfast skin put on. Now, I had never played Doom, so the game was something new for me and I was transfixed. The memories of fighting the Flemoids are all positive. However, when you look back on the game, it doesn’t look great. That may change though as some fans have been taking the game and giving it an update.
Chex Quest HD is definitely a step up in graphics and is using the Unreal Engine 4. Don’t expect triple-A graphics, but for fan-made games, this is decent. Also, they have been given permission to use the correct logos and such from General Mills. You can check out a trailer for Chex Quest HD below along with a before and after picture.
