Movie DCShazam! by Joey Paur

If you’re excited about DC’s great looking superhero film Shazam!, thanks to Fandango and WB you’ll have the opportunity to see it in theaters two weeks before it’s officially released!

The movie was already screened for select critics and most of them had a lot of great things to say about the movie! Warner Bros. is obviously confident enough in the film to screen it early so that the fans can hype it up before it’s released.

Fandango’s website has a page set up for advance screenings of Shazam! that will be held on Saturday, March 23rd. You can’t buy your tickets yet, but keep checking back for details. I’ll definitely be making an attempt to see Shazam! early! Will you?

Directed by David F. SandbergShazam! stars Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Mark Strong, Jack Dylan Grazer, Grace Fulton, Faithe Herman, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Cooper Andrews, Marta Milans, and Djimon Hounsou.

We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s (Angel) case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Strong).

Shazam! will be released in theaters on April 5, 2019.
