Fans Imagine Jason David Frank as Tommy Oliver for Live-Action SOUL OF THE DRAGON Adaptation
Jason David Frank is the most famous Power Ranger. He played Tommy Oliver across five different costumes and four series. He’s even made cameos here and there in Saban’s Power Rangers as well as special episodes like “Dimensions in Danger.” On top of all that, Frank has appeared in fan-made videos and the trailer for the Shattered Grid comics where he played Lord Drakkon. If you think someone else is a more famous Ranger, I dare you to tell me in the comments (note that famous does not equal best).
Tommy recently got his own graphic novel called Soul of the Dragon and now fans are thinking that Frank should reprise the role of Tommy once again for a live-action adaptation of the comic. In fact, some fans have already made art showing what he could look like and I really want this to be a thing. It may be difficult scheduling as Frank is set to make his professional wrestling debut this year, but I’d love to see him do a Soul of the Dragon show and a Shattered Grid series. Maybe on Netflix? Give us what we need Frank!
