Fantastic First Trailer for THE HIGH NOTE Starring Tracee Ellis Ross, Dakota Johnson, and Ice Cube
We’ve got a great looking trailer for you to check out for the film The High Note starring Tracee Ellis Ross (Girlfriends, Black-ish), and Dakota Johnson (Fifty Shades, The Peanut Butter Falcon), as well as Ice Cube (Friday, 21 Jump Street), Bill Pullman (While You Were Sleeping, The Sinner), and June Diane Raphael (Long Shot, Grace and Frankie).
Here’s the official synopsis:
Set in the dazzling world of the LA music scene comes the story of Grace Davis (Tracee Ellis Ross), a superstar whose talent, and ego, have reached unbelievable heights. Maggie (Dakota Johnson) is Grace’s overworked personal assistant who’s stuck running errands, but still aspires to her childhood dream of becoming a music producer. When Grace’s manager (Ice Cube) presents her with a choice that could alter the course of her career, Maggie and Grace come up with a plan that could change their lives forever.
This movie looks pretty great. The talent is top-notch, and the story is solid. I’m excited to check it out. Watch the trailer below, and see The High Note in theaters on May 8th, 2020.
