Fantastic First Trailer for Wes Anderson's New Film THE FRENCH DISPATCH
Wes Anderson never fails to entertain me with the movies that he makes. I just enjoy his humor and the quirky filmmaker style he has to tell his stories. Well, today we finally have the first trailer for his new film, The French Dispatch, to share with you, and I love it! This looks like it’s going to tell a fun and whimsical story.
The film has been described as a love letter to journalists set in an outpost of an American newspaper in a fictional 20th-century French city centering on three storylines that bring to life a collection of stories published in The French Dispatch magazine.
The French Dispatch also has an incredible ensemble cast that includes Benicio Del Toro (Sicario: Day of the Soldado, Traffic), Adrien Brody (The Pianist), Tilda Swinton (Suspiria, Doctor Strange), Léa Seydoux (Spectre), Frances McDormand (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, Fargo), Timothée Chalamet (Beautiful Boy, Little Women), Lyna Khoudri (The Blessed), Jeffrey Wright (Westworld), Mathieu Amalric (The Grand Budapest Hotel), Stephen Park (Fargo), Bill Murray (Ghostbusters), and Owen Wilson (The Royal Tenenbaums).
Newly announced additions to the cast include Saoirse Ronan, Henry Winkler, Christoph Waltz, Liev Schreiber, Elisabeth Moss, Edward Norton, Willem Dafoe, Lois Smith, Cécile de France, Guillaume Gallienne, Jason Schwartzman, Tony Revolori, Rupert Friend, Bob Balaban, Hippolyte Girardot, and Anjelica Huston.
The French Dispatch is set to be released in theaters on June 24th. Check out the trailer below. I also included a new playful poster.
