FANTASTIC FOUR "Mess" Update and Trailer Coming Soon
Yesterday we reported on rumors that Fox was not happy with Josh Trank's Fantastic Four reboot, and that it was such "a mess" that they needed to do some heavy reshoots. According to screenwriter and producer Simon Kinberg, that may not be all true. Kinberg reached out to Latino-Review and gave them an update, and he also said that we'll get to see the first teaser trailer with Kingsman: The Secret Service.
To confirm - Fantastic Four will be doing 3-4 days of additional photography with director Josh Trank and some key cast members. We are very excited about the film and can't wait for you to see what we've been up to. And you will be able to do that very soon as I can confirm here that the teaser will be on Kingsman in theaters February 13.
So it looks like we'll get to see for ourselves if the movie is going to be good or not when we watch that teaser trailer. Since I wrote up the "mess" post yesterday, I've had time to think a little bit about FOX not liking the film, and that might actually be a good thing. As we've learned from past films, Fox doesn't have very good judgment when making superhero movies. Maybe the reason they don't like it is because it's something the fans might actually enjoy! Just something to think about.
