Fantastically Charming Animated Short - TIMTOM

I love the art of animation, and this short film is a CGI animated film that pays tribute to the art of animation. The short is called TimTom and is was created by Romain Segaud and Christel Pougeoise.

I love how the includes elements of stop-motion animation, film media and sound to tell the story. It follows two notepad head characters as they are harassed the animators hand.

It was an official selection at Sundance and won a jury award prize at Siggraph as well as the grand prizes at Imagina and Ars Electronica. There's a reason why this won these awards, and you'll see it when you watch the short.

My student short… Done a few years ago. It allowed me to go to many festivals (Sundance (official selection), Siggraph (jury award), Imagina (grand price), ARS electronica (grand price), Annecy,…). I was looking for a good platform to show it properly on the internet… Vimeo is simply the best. De ma part, il n'a jamais été mis en ligne autre que sur mon site personnel. J'attendais qu'une plateforme puisse diffuser des films au meilleur format.
