Fantasy Flight Games Announces MARVEL D.A.G.G.E.R. Cooperative Board Game
Marvel D.A.G.G.E.R. is a new cooperative board game coming from Fantasy Flight Games. The game supports 1-5 players who will take on the roles of various heroes from the Marvel universe to stop the bad guys. One of the key mechanics of the game will be combos where multiple heroes will work together to become more effective. Sounds like there’s some potential. You can read all the details about combos over on FFG’s website, but I’ll sum up some of the other items below.
Earth is in danger. Nefarious forces threaten the world as we know it, and it’s up to a small group of heroes to come to its rescue. With the enemy’s minions closing in and innocents in peril, our heroes will need to work together to stop the villain’s plans and save the world. But will they be able to save it in time?
In Marvel D.A.G.G.E.R., 1 to 5 players work together to challenge the forces of evil. Play as iconic heroes like Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Black Widow, and race across the globe to complete missions, battle enemies, and square off for the final showdown against the nemesis. Choose the best aspect for your hero, pull off awesome combos, and wait for the perfect moment to unleash your ultimate ability. Team up with your allies and take on dangerous threats as you become the greatest heroes in the world!
When you play the game, each player will choose from 20 heroes that the game will launch with. You’ll also have to choose heroic aspects which give you access to different actions. Each aspect will have pros and cons, so there will be plenty of options to sort through and find the best fit for your playstyle.
In Marvel D.A.G.G.E.R., players will have to bring down a nemesis. This is the character that causes problems for your group to fix. You’ll run around the globe completing missions and defeating enemies, but the nemesis is the one behind it all. Each of the four nemeses will have unique missions and ways that they cause chaos for your gaming group.
