Fascinating Featurette for Upcoming Amazon Series TALES FROM THE LOOP With Fanciful Stories and a Spielberg Feel
We have an awesome featurette for you to check out for the upcoming series Tales From the Loop. The series looks really fun and interesting, and in the clip, Jodie Foster, who directs an episode of the series, describes it as “a genuine cinematic experiment,” and “a film-lover’s television show.”
The series was created by Nathaniel Halpern, and much of it is based on art by Simon Stalenhag, who wrote the series alongside Halpern. Here’s the brief synopsis for the series:
Inspired by the wondrous paintings of Simon Stålenhag, Tales from the Loop explores the mind-bending adventures of the people who live above the Loop, a machine built to unlock and explore the mysteries of the universe – making things previously relegated to science fiction, possible.
I don’t exactly know what direction the series will go in, as the story is kept pretty vague, but I like that the footage has a real Spielbergian adventure feel. Check out the featurette below, and watch Tales From the Loop on Amazon beginning April 3rd.
