Fascinating Trailer For Netflix's THE PUSH Follows a Real Psychological Illusionist Convincing Someone to Commit Murder

The Push is an intriguing special coming to Netflix that focuses on a real psychological illusionist named Derren Brown as he seriously tricks a man into committing a murder. This thing looks crazy! Brown organizes a whole elaborate setup to push some poor guy into killing someone. Apparently Brown has been doing shows like this in the United Kingdom for a few years, but this is his first American special. Here's the synopsis:

In The Push, Brown exposes the psychological secrets of obedience and social compliance. He expertly lifts the lid on the terrifying truth that, when confronted with authority, our natural instinct is to unflinchingly obey without question – to such an extent that even the most moral people can be made to commit the most horrendous acts, simply because they are told to do so.

This is seriously one hell of cruel prank to pull on someone! It's downright unsettling. Watch the trailer and you'll see how this whole think is set up. I can't help but feel sorry for this guy! Is something like this crossing the line?

The Push premieres on Netflix February 27.
