Fascinating Trailer For The Mystery Series LIMETOWN Based on The Podcast and Stars Jessica Biel
To say that I’m excited for the Facebook Watch series Limetown is a bit of an understatement. My wife introduced me to the podcast that the series is based on and it is my favorite podcast. I have been so excited about seeing and not just hearing the story and now we have a release date and a trailer.
Jessica Biel will star as Lia Haddock and I’m still not totally convinced she was the right pick, but I’m excited nonetheless. Also, it looks like Stanley Tucci will be playing Emile, Lia’s uncle. Not the character I was hoping for, but he’ll be great.
The story follows Lia Haddock (Jessica Biel), "a journalist for American Public Radio (APR), who “unravels the mystery behind the disappearance of over 300 people at a neuroscience research community in Tennessee.”
The series also stars Marlee Matlin (Quantico), Kelly Jenrette (The Handmaid’s Tale), John Beasley (Shots Fired), Sherri Saum (The Fosters), Omar Elba (A Hologram For the King), Louis Ferriera (The Man in the High Castle), and Janet Kidder (Arrow).
If you haven’t listened to the podcast, I highly recommend you go and do so now, you have until October 16 to finish the first season which is very doable. I cannot wait!
