FAST & FURIOUS 9 Will See the Return of Charlize Theron and Helen Mirren
Vin Diesel has announced that Charlize Theron and Helen Mirren are set to reprise their roles of the cyberterrorist Cipher and Magdalene Shaw, respectively, in Fast & Furious 9. I really liked these characters, so I’m happy to see that they will be involved in this upcoming new story.
The actresses will be joining Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, and John Cena.
The fact that Magdalene Shaw is in the movie makes me wonder if this means Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw will show up in some way. It’ll be interesting to see how these characters end up being utilized in the story. We don’t have any story details to share with you right now. All that information is being kept under wraps.
Fast & Furious 9 is being directed by Justin Lin, and it’s scheduled to be released on May 22, 2020 by Universal Pictures.
