FEAR THE WALKING DEAD Star Cliff Curtis Joins Cast of AVATAR Sequels in a Lead Role
It looks like another well-known actor will be joining Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana in James Cameron's four Avatar sequels. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed Fear the Walking Dead star Cliff Curtis has signed on for a lead role.
Based on the description of his character, it sounds like Curtis will not be human. The report says he will play a character name Tonowari, leader of the Metkayina reef people clan.
Cameron plans on shooting all four movies back-to-back, and will produce each of the sequels as stand alone films, and then combine them to create an epic saga.
Back in 2009, Avatar smashed the box office earning $2.8 billion worldwide and remains the top-grossing film of all time at the global box office.
With so many Avatar movies coming I'm sure we'll be hearing about many more actors joining the saga.
