Featurette for Marvel's WEREWOLF BY NIGHT; Kevin Feige Says It Will Impact the MCU's Future
One thing that I absolutely love about Marvel’s Werewolf by Night, other than the cool throwback style, story, and setting, is the fact that it will introduce proper monsters into the MCU! We’ve got a new featurette for you to watch today for the Halloween special that offers new footage and insight on the highly-anticipated project.
The project is a throwback to the black and white horror films of the ’30s and ’40s. The story centers on a group of unusual suspects gathered together on a creepy night, and one of them is the Werewolf by Night. They find themselves in a position where they are forced to stay alive as the end of the night approaches.
In the video, Kevin Feige explains that this film will play an important role in the future of the MCU: “We wanted to explore entirely new characters and entirely new sides of the MCU with this unusual, fun, and frightening spin on the supernatural. We’re introducing a world that will ultimately become quite important to the future of the MCU.”
Gael García Bernal plays Jack Russell, a.k.a. Werewolf by Night, and he’s joined by Laura Donnelly and Harriet Sansom Harris. It will premiere on Disney Plus on October 7th.
