A new featurette has been released for the film Palmer, which is set to be released on Apple TV+ this Friday. The clip features the film’s star, Justin Timberlake, talking about the story and the role he plays in the film, as well as the film’s director, Fisher Stevens, talking about the character’s background.

Here’s the film’s synopsis:

Family is who you make it. After 12 years in prison, former high school football star Eddie Palmer (Justin Timberlake) returns home to put his life back together—and forms an unlikely bond with Sam, an outcast boy from a troubled home. But Eddie's past threatens to ruin his new life and family.

Timberlake is joined in the cast by June Squibb, Juno Temple, Alisha Wainwright, Dean Winters, and Ryder Allen. This looks like it’s going to be a total heartbreaker of a movie, but it also looks like it will put it back together before it’s through, and Timberlake seems to give an incredible performance. Check out the featurette below, and watch Palmer on Apple TV+ this Friday.
