Featurette for DC Vertigo's New Mob Film THE KITCHEN Talks About Filming in NYC

The Kitchen is an upcoming film adaptation of the DC/Vertigo comic of the same name. The story is set in 1978s Hell’s Kitchen in New York City. After their husbands are put in prison, three women decide they’re going to take over for their husbands and run the show.

It looks like a very intense film and now there’s a cool featurette that’s been released to give a bit of a behind-the-scenes look at the film where the cast and crew talk about what it was like filming in New York City.

The Kitchen will be in theaters on August 9. Tiffany Haddish, Melissa McCarthy, and Elisabeth Moss star in the film which is being directed by Andrea Berloff.
