Featurette For Will Smith's Fantasy Cop Movie BRIGHT Dives Deep into the Story of Cooked Cops and Magic Wands

I don't know about you, but I'm pretty stoked about director David Ayer's Netflix film Bright. The movie is a hardcore cop movie set in an alternate fantasy world. The movie stars Will Smith and Joel Edgerton as two LAPD officers who are reluctantly paired up to fight crime together.

Today, we have a fantastic new featurette for you to watch that dives into these characters and offers up some more information on who they are and what dark and dangerous adventure awaits them.

If things already don't seem strange enough with a story that revolves around the first orc police officer in a world where orcs and fairies co-exist with humans and are often subjected to discrimination. Things take an even stranger turn for them when the heroes stumble upon a magic wand that’s able to reshape reality to its wielder’s will.

I think the fantastical setting and concept of the film is pretty cool and it looks like David Ayer has made another great movie! The featurette features interviews with the cast and the director and also offers some more footage for you to enjoy.

Set in an alternate present-day where humans, orcs, elves, and fairies have been co-existing since the beginning of time. Bright is genre-bending action movie that follows two cops from very different backgrounds. Ward (Smith) and Jakoby (Edgerton), embark on a routine patrol night and encounter a darkness that will ultimately alter the future and their world as they know it.

The movie was written by Max Landis and it also stars Noomi RapaceEdgar RamírezIke Barinholtz, and Brad William Henke.

Bright will be available to stream on Netflix starting on December 22, 2017.
