Fenix Studios Is Adapting ECHO Video Game into a Film

Echo is a third-person sci-fi stealth video game that has received some pretty positive reviews. Well, F. Gary Gray wants to adapt the video game into a movie through his Fenix Studios. Fenix Studios has already optioned the rights to Echo and Gray is set to produce the film via Fenix alongside dj2 Entertainment. Echo will be overseen by Gary Glushon. Meanwhile, the screenplay will be adapted by Derek Kolstad of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum fame. Here’s a synopsis of the game:

After a century in stasis the girl En arrives at her destination: A Palace out of legend. Out here, using forgotten technologies, she hopes to bring back a life that shouldn’t have been lost. But nothing could prepare her for what she’ll face in the ancient halls below.

Is this a video game adaptation you think will go well?
