Fifth Season of IZOMBIE Will Be Its Last

iZombie was recently put on the list of TV shows at The CW that was going to be renewed for the 2018-2019 season. Then, they came out and announced that the next season (season 5) would be the show’s last. This will be a bittersweet moment for fans of the Vertigo Comics adaptation as they will be saying goodbye to this show in a year, but the show will be going out on its own terms. This should allow the writers to make sure that all loose ends are tied off so that fans are not left wholly unsatisfied.

Rose McIver, who plays the lead character, Liv Moore, said this about the announcement:

So the fifth season of #iZombie will be our last. I am therefore committed and excited to make it the best one yet! Really proud to be on a show that celebrates the misfits and I pinch myself every day that I get to be a part of the iZombie world with you guys. Thank you ❤️
