FINAL DESTINATION: BLOODLINES Featurette Focuses on the Legacy of Tony Todd's Bludworth

I’ve got a great featurette for you to watch for Final Destination: Bloodlines, and it focuses on the legacy of Tony Todd’s franchise character William Bludworth.

The movie reveals the backstory for this character, and in the video, the cast and crew talk about the mysterious mortician, including an interview with Todd himself talking about what makes this character so interesting.

Co-director Adam Stein says in the video, "Is he an angel, is he the devil, who is this guy? In this movie, we answer those questions." The producer adds, "who he really is, where he really comes from, and how he is connected to the franchise at its very core."

Then star Brec Bassinger teases, "You learn why he knows so much about escaping death."

Todd passed away in November 2024 and Final Destination: Bloodlines will mark the final big screen appearance for the actor, and they give him a proper farewell.

In the film, “Plagued by a violent recurring nightmare, college student Stefanie heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all.”

The horror franchise was resurrected by Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein (Freaks), who are directing from a script written by  Lori Evans Taylor (Wicked Wicked Games) and Guy Busick (Scream), with Jon Watts (Spider-Man: No Way Home) producing.

The cast includes Teo Briones (Chucky), Brec Bassinger (Stargirl), Kaitlyn Santa Juana (The Friendship Game), Richard Harmon (Grave Encounters 2), Anna LoreOwen Patrick JoynerMax Lloyd-Jones (The Book Of Boba Fett), Rya Kihlstedt (Obi Wan Kenobi), and Tinpo Lee (The Manor).
