Final Trailer For BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY is For The Misfits and The Outcasts
Here’s the final trailer for the highly anticipated Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody and it does a great job of getting fans pumped up for the film. It’s certainly a more inspiring trailer as it sheds light on the band and what makes them different from all the other wannabe rockstars.
As Freddy Mercury (Rami Malek) says in the trailer, “We’re four misfits who don’t below together, playing for other misfits and the outcasts right in the back of the room, who are pretty sure they don’t belong either… we belong to them.”
As a longtime fan of the band Queen, I am super excited for this movie. I know the early reviews have been mixed, but I’m still looking forward to it! One thing that everyone is praising, though, is Raimi Malek’s performance.
Bohemian Rhapsody is a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury, who defied stereotypes and shattered convention to become one of the most beloved entertainers on the planet. The film traces the meteoric rise of the band through their iconic songs and revolutionary sound, their near-implosion as Mercury's lifestyle spirals out of control, and their triumphant reunion on the eve of Live Aid, where Mercury, facing a life-threatening illness, leads the band in one of the greatest performances in the history of rock music. In the process, cementing the legacy of a band that were always more like a family, and who continue to inspire outsiders, dreamers and music lovers to this day.
Bryan Singer was the original director of the film but was fired in the middle of production and replaced with Dexter Fletcher (Eddie the Eagle). The other Queen band members will be played by Joe Mazzello, Ben Hardy, and Gwilym Lee. Mike Myers (Austin Powers, Wayne's World) also stars.
Bohemian Rhapsody will open in theaters on November 2, 2018.
