Final Trailer for COYOTE VS. ACME is Packed With Fun Looney Tunes Mayhem

After one of the wildest journeys to the big screen in recent Hollywood history, Coyote vs. ACME is finally ready for its theatrical debut, and Warner Bros. has released one last trailer to get fans excited.

The movie became the center of a huge conversation after it was unexpectedly shelved despite being completed and originally scheduled for a 2023 release.

For a while, it looked like audiences would never get the chance to see it. Thankfully, Ketchup Entertainment stepped in, rescued the film, and now it's heading to theaters this August.

The latest trailer gives viewers a much better look at the story while also revealing that Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner won't be the only familiar faces showing up. It looks like plenty of classic Looney Tunes characters will be joining the fun, making this feel even more like the big-screen celebration fans have been hoping for.

The film takes one of Looney Tunes' oldest running gags and asks a hilarious question: What if Wile E. Coyote finally held ACME accountable for all those exploding gadgets and defective inventions?

After suffering years of failed attempts to catch the Road Runner thanks to Acme's disastrous products, the Coyote decides enough is enough and files a lawsuit against the company.

He's represented by Kevin Avery, played by Will Forte, who helps him seek compensation for decades of pain, humiliation, and explosive failures.

Standing on the other side of the courtroom is ACME's lawyer Buddy Crane, played by John Cena. The trailer reveals that Acme is prepared to offer a settlement, but when the Coyote turns down a million-dollar payout, it's clear he isn't interested in taking the easy way out. He's determined to see the fight through to the end.

The movie may center on Wile E. Coyote's legal battle, but the newest footage makes it clear this isn't a one-character show. Fans can expect several familiar Looney Tunes favorites to pop up throughout the adventure, adding even more classic cartoon chaos to the courtroom comedy.

Along with the upcoming animated film The Cat in the Hat, Warner Bros. is also preparing a new animated short called Daffy Season, which follows Daffy Duck through an unusual soccer adventure.

The short recently screened at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, where early reactions revealed that Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd are also expected to appear alongside Daffy.

Even though another feature-length Looney Tunes movie hasn't been announced yet, the iconic characters continue to find new life across multiple projects.

Earlier this year, Looney Tunes Gokko debuted as an anime-inspired reimagining of the legendary cast, offering fans a completely different take on the beloved characters.

Meanwhile, Tubi has introduced an entirely new generation of viewers to the classic cartoons by streaming a massive collection of Looney Tunes shorts, proving these animated icons are every bit as entertaining today as they were decades ago.

After everything Coyote vs. ACME has gone through to reach theaters, it's going to be satisfying to finally see audiences get the chance to experience the movie that almost disappeared forever.

It looks like this courtroom showdown is shaping up to be a fun, heartfelt, and wonderfully ridiculous Looney Tunes adventure.
