Final Trailer for Martin Scorsese's Riveting New Film THE IRISHMAN
Netflix has released the final trailer for director Martin Scorsese’s historical crime thriller The Irishman. This new trailer gives us our best look yet at what we can expect to see from the movie, and it’s packed full of new footage.
The movie is currently playing in theaters and will arrive on Netflix later this month. The film has been building a lot of buzz, and there are a lot of rave reviews for it. A lot of those reviews are quoted in this latest trailer.
It looks like Scorsese has made another mob movie masterpiece, and I can’t wait to see it for myself! The film stars Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci, Harvey Keitel, and Ray Romano, all of whom are featured in this trailer. I’m just happy Pesci came out of retirement to be in this movie. This will most likely be the last film we ever see him in.
The Irishman is described as “an epic saga of organized crime in post-war America told through the eyes of World War II veteran Frank Sheeran, a hustler, and hitman who worked alongside some of the most notorious figures of the 20th Century. Spanning decades, the film chronicles one of the greatest unsolved mysteries in American history, the disappearance of legendary union boss Jimmy Hoffa, and offers a monumental journey through the hidden corridors of organized crime: its inner workings, rivalries, and connections to mainstream politics.”
The Irishman is based on Charles Brandt’s book, I Heard You Paint Houses: Frank ‘The Irishman’ Sheeran & Closing the Case on Jimmy Hoffa, and there's a lot of controversy surrounding the story as it's based on the deathbed confession of Frank "The Irishman” Sheeran.
The movie also stars Anna Paquin, Bobby Cannavale, Stephen Graham, Stephanie Kurtzuba, Jack Huston, Kathrine Narducci, and Jesse Plemons.
The Irishman will first be released in theaters on November 1, 2019 and then will arrive on Netflix on November 27, 2019.
