Final Trailer For Steven Moffat's DRACULA Series - "See The Dark In a New Light"

Netflix has released a final trailer from the upcoming Dracula series that comes from the creative team who brought us Sherlock, Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss. The series was inspired by Bram Stoker’s classic novel, and it looks like it’s going to be a great show. As a fan of Moffat’s previous work, I can’t wait to see what he does with this.

The series stars Claes Bang (The Girl in the Spider’s Web), who is taking on the role of Dracula. When previously talking about being cast in the role of Dracula, Bang said:

“I am thrilled to be taking on the role of Dracula, especially when the script is in the hands of the incredible talents of Steven Moffat, Mark Gatiss and the team responsible for Sherlock. I’m so excited that I get to dig into this iconic and super-interesting character. Yes, he’s evil, but there’s also so much more to him, he’s charismatic, intelligent, witty and sexy. I realize that there’s a lot to live up to with all the amazing people that have played him over the years, but I feel so privileged, to be taking on this incredible character.”

The story for the series is set in 1897 and revolves around the “blood-drinking count from Transylvania who sets his sights on Victorian London.”

The cast of the series also includes John Heffernan, Dolly Wells, Joanna Scanlan, Morfydd Clark, Jonathan Aris, Sacha Dhawan, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, Catherine Schell, Youssef Kerkour, Clive Russell, and Lujza Richter.

Dracula will consist of three 90-minute episodes and it premieres on Netflix on January 4, 2020.

He's been around for centuries, but what happens when a worthy adversary bites back? From the makers of "Sherlock," Claes Bang stars as Dracula in this brand-new series inspired by Bram Stoker's classic novel. On Netflix Jan 4.
