Final Trailer for THE INTRUDER Makes Buying a House from Dennis Quaid Seem Like the Worst Idea
Before watching this trailer, I was like, nope, Dennis Quaid (The Parent Trap, The Rookie, Frequency) is not a creep. He is the love interest, the dad, the sweetheart with a fantastic smile. This is never going to work. But then I watched the trailer for The Intruder, and I totally changed my mind.
Meagan Good (Think Like a Man, Shazam!) and Michael Ealy (Think Like a Man, The Good Wife) star as a couple buying their dream house from a seemingly nice man (Quaid), who is selling his home so he can retire to Florida. Only he doesn’t go to Florida! He sticks around and acts like he still lives there. Mowing the lawn, popping in uninvited, and getting angry that the people who bought the house are making changes to the house they bought. It’s all very strange.
He’s seemingly having some sort of Alzheimer or psychological break, and it’s all very scary. I was just impressed with how freaking creepy Dennis Quaid could be!
It looks like a super fun thriller, and I’m excited to see it. Watch the trailer below and let us know if you’ll be seeing The Intruder in theaters on May 3rd.
