Fire Will Reign in Final Trailer for HOUSE OF THE DRAGON
HBO Max has released the final trailer for the long-awaited Game of Thrones prequel series House of the Dragon. This is the final trailer for the fantasy epic, which is set to premiere this Sunday! I’ve got high hopes for this show, and I hope it delivers a great story!
The trailer is titled “Fire Will Reign,” and it begins with the voice of Viserys Targaryen saying: “The road ahead is uncertain, but the end is clear. We are better defended… by whomever may dare to challenge us.” The clip concludes with him saying, “The threat of war looms.”
The series is based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood series, which is set 300 years before the events of Game of Thrones and tells the story of House Targaryen. Here’s the synopsis:
Centuries before the events of A Game of Thrones, House Targaryen—the only family of dragonlords to survive the Doom of Valyria—took up residence on Dragonstone. Fire & Blood begins their tale with the legendary Aegon the Conqueror, creator of the Iron Throne, and goes on to recount the generations of Targaryens who fought to hold that iconic seat, all the way up to the civil war that nearly tore their dynasty apart.
