First AQUAMAN Poster Released and James Wan Teases The Upcoming Trailer With a Photo

This week at Comic-Con, Warner Bros. is going to unleash the first trailer for Aquaman! Today Warner Bros. has released the first poster for the film that you can see below. It comes with the tagline, "Home is Calling", and Aquaman is surrounded by the creatures of the sea.

Director James Wan and his team have also been hard at work cutting together the trailer and the director teased that trailer with a photo from the editing room.

That photo shows a shot of what looks to be Aquaman in his full-on costume holding the trident. This visually awesome shot is sure to get some fans excited. It definitely worked on me, and I've never really been an Aquaman fan!

Wan is one of my favorite directors making movies right now, and I can't wait to see what he does with this movie!

Aquaman stars Jason Momoa and he will be joined by Willem Dafoe as Vulko; Temuera Morrison (Green Lantern) as Tom Curry; Dolph Lundgren (The Expendables films) as Nereus; Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (The Get Down) as Black Manta; Ludi Lin (Power Rangers) as Murk; with Patrick Wilson (The Conjuring films, Watchmen) as Orm/Ocean Master; and Nicole Kidman as Atlanna. Here's the synopsis:

Aquaman will center on Aquaman as a reluctant ruler of the underwater kingdom of Atlantis who is caught between land dwellers that are always polluting the globe and his own people who are ready to invade the surface.

Aquaman is set to be released December 21, 2018.
