First Clip For ASSASSIN'S CREED Introduces Us to the Animus and There's a New TV Spot

I've got high hopes for Michael Fassbender's Assassin's Creed. The film has got a good team of talented people working on it, and I've been impressed with what I've seen in the trailers. 20th Century Fox has now released the first clip from the film, which is titled, "Enter the Animus," and it centers on Fassbender’s character Callum getting into the Animus for the first time. I also included a new TV spot for the movie for you to check out!

Through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day.

Assassin's Creed was directed by Justin Kurzel (Snowtown, Macbeth), and it also stars Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, Brendan Gleeson, and Michael K. Williams. The film opens in theaters on December 21, 2016.
