First Ever Stadia Connect Announced for This Thursday Ahead of E3
Google Stadia has had my interest piqued since it was announced. The ability to simply stream a game without requiring a console or high-end PC is the dream, especially as someone who has a Chromebook. At the announcement, we learned about the premise of Stadia and very few other details. With E3 happening next week, many have expected Stadia to make a giant splash especially with PlayStation being absent this year. Well, it looks like Google has gotten impatient as they have decided to have their first ever Stadia Connect later this week to give a lot of the information people have been wanting to know.
On June 6 at 9 AM Pacific Time, interested parties will be able to find out the latest news about Stadia, including “pricing, games, and launch details.” I’m stoked, and you can bet it’s already on my calendar. My current hope is that people will be able to pay $10/month in order to access all the games in the library. However, I know that’s not very likely. My biggest question is if the price of the games will be part of the subscription (I’m assuming it’s a subscription), or if you’ll have to pay for the games at the $60 point on top of the subscription fee which I imagine will be about $20/month.
We also know that Assassin’s Creed and Doom Eternal will be making their way onto the service, but what else do you expect to see on there?
You can watch the Stadia Connect over on YouTube this Thursday.
