First Image Revealed For The New Film Adaptation of Stephen King's SALEM'S LOT
One of the most exciting things that I saw at CinemaCon back in April was a trailer for the new film adaptation of Salem’s Lot. It looks like it’s going to be an awesome and freaky film! That trailer has yet to be released, in fact, nothing has really been released for the film yet. There’s been no marketing whatsoever.
But, the first image has been released. It serves as the cover for the movie tie-in edition of King’s classic novel.
Lewis Pullman (Bad Times at the El Royale, Top Gun: Maverick) stars in the film, and he will take on the role of author Ben Mears, “a man who returns to his childhood home of Jerusalem’s Lot in search of inspiration for his next book only to discover his hometown is being preyed upon by a vampire, leading him to band together with a ragtag group that will fight the evil presence.”
The movie also stars Jordan Preston Carter as Mark Petrie, Alfre Woodard as Dr. Cody, Makenzie Leigh as Susan Norton, John Benjamin Hickey as Father Callahan, William Sadler in an as of now unannounced role, and it was directed by Gary Dauberman (It).
Salem’s Lot will be released on September 9th, 2022. You can watch our reaction to the footage we saw at CinemaCon here.
