First Impressions: RECORDED BY ARIZAL is a Prototype Miniseries
The first episode of Recorded by Arizal is available to watch on Rooster Teeth FIRST. I checked it out, and it’s interesting. The episodes are a lot shorter than I expected at only about 4 minutes long, but that’s not bad. The idea behind Recorded by Arizal is to introduce people to the world and the characters across four episodes. Then, the team led by Yssa Badiola plans to take viewer feedback and use that to hone and craft a longer form series. It’s an interesting idea although I wonder if any kind of interest will die down in the interim.
So far, we’ve met Arizal (voiced by Christine Marie Cabanos) who is one of those overachieving people who wants to get a job that will take them on adventure. We also get a small glimpse into her Tita Cherry (voiced by Monica Rial) and one of her best friends Lia (voiced by Christina Stuckart). The animation is decent and I’ll probably watch the other three episodes to see where it goes. The first episode will be available for free on July 20 on Rooster Teeth.
