First Look at Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans in The Christmas Action Movie RED ONE
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas and Chris Evans has shared the first look at his upcoming holiday action movie Red One. The two photos he shared on social media feature himself alongside Dwayne Johnson wearing a suit that’s reminiscent of the suit Daredevil wears, with the whole black and red color scheme.
Two main characters in the story are named Callum Drift and Jack O’Malley and the project is billed as a globe-trotting, four-quadrant action-adventure comedy imagining a whole new universe to explore within the holiday genre.
Screenwriter Chris Morgan wrote the screenplay for Red One, and he previously worked with the company on several Fast & Furious franchise films. The movie is being directed by Jumanji franchise director Jake Kasdan and it also stars Kiernan Shipka and Lucy Liu.
We still don’t have any story details to share for the movie, but I have no doubt that it will be a fun holiday action-adventure movie. Johnson previously described it as being “Hobbs meets Miracle on 34th Street.”
