First Look at Joel Kinnaman in John Woo's New Action Film SILENT NIGHT
Director John Woo is directing his first U.S. action film since his 2003 movie Paycheck. The new film is titled Silent Night, it stars Joel Kinnaman (The Suicide Squad), and today we have our first look at the movie.
Silent Night is described as a “loud action tale, without a word of dialogue” and the story follows a normal father on a mission to avenge his young son who was tragically caught in the crossfire of gang violence on Christmas Eve. Shot and nearly killed while in pursuit of the murderers, Godlock vows to avenge his son by any means necessary.
This is sure to be an intense film and as someone who has enjoyed a lot of John Woo’s films, I’m excited to see how this next film of his turns out. The movie also stars Scott Mescudi a.k.a. Kid Cudi, Harold Torres, and Catalina Sandino Moreno.
John Wick’s Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, Christian Mercuri and Lori Tilkin are producing. Woo’s last film was the 2017 action movie Manhunt.
