First Look at Marvel and Netflix's Jessica Jones and Luke Cage
ComicBookResources has some photos that are reportedly from the set of Marvel and Netflix's upcoming new series Jessica Jones. They feature Krysten Ritter as the title character and Mike Colter as Luke Cage, who is on fire in one of the photos.
The characters aren't wearing any flashy costumes, but I'm sure that will come in time. For those of you who don't know, Cage has unbreakable skin, which basically makes him invulnerable.
Here's the synopsis for the series:
Ever since her short-lived stint as a Super Hero ended in tragedy, Jessica Jones has been rebuilding her personal life and career as a hot-tempered, sardonic, badass private detective in Hell’s Kitchen, New York City. Plagued by self-loathing, and a wicked case of PTSD, Jessica battles demons from within and without, using her extraordinary abilities as an unlikely champion for those in need… especially if they’re willing to cut her a check.
The series will be released later this year, and we're all hoping that it will be just as good as Daredevil.
