First Look at Marvel's LOKI Series Reveals a 1975 Setting

For those of you who are curious about what we can expect to see from Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ Loki series, we’ve got a photo to share with you that offers our first look at the show.

Kevin Feige showed up at a Disney investor meeting last month to talk about the Marvel Disney+ shows and Disney has released an image from that event that features Feige on stage with an image of some key art from Loki in the the background.

The image features Tom Hiddleston in the role of Loki walking in the streets in a 1975 setting. How do I know that the setting is 1975? Well, you can clearly see a movie theater marquee behind Loki displaying the classic Steven Spielberg film Jaws. After you noticed that, you notice the clothing and the cars are also from the 70s.

It has been rumored that the series would jump around to a few different timelines and I guess 1975 will be one of them. The image also gives us our first look at the title logo.

There’s no release date set for the Loki series yet, but it will premiere on Disney+, which is set to launch in November. I’m looking forward to seeing how this turns out! What are your thoughts on this first look?
