First Look at Rocksteady and Bebop Meeting Tokka and Rahzar For The First Time in Upcoming TMNT Comic
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles villains Rocksteady and Bebop will meet Tokka and Rahzar from the film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze for the first time in an upcoming comic book and today we have our first look.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze was released in 1991 and It’s kind of crazy that it’s taken so long to finally make the villains, Tokka and Rahzar, official canon in the comics. But, it’s finally gonna happen!
The whole reason why Tokka and Rahzar were created for the film was because TMNT co-creators Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman did not care for Beebop and Rocksteady. This is because they were a product of the cartoon series and not the original comics.
The first look at the two teams of villains meeting up was shared on the cover art for TMNT #115 and it was shared by writer and artist Sophie Campbell.
The comic is scheduled to be released on March 10 and the synopsis reads:
It's the biggest battle of the year as Bebop and Rocksteady take on Tokka and Rahzar! Meanwhile, Jennika needs to finish forming her band if the future is to be saved. Who she picks as lead singer will surprise you!
