Teaser Trailer For Sony Animation's SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE (PART ONE)
Out of nowhere, Sony Pictures decided to drop a first look teaser for the sequel to their hit Spider-man: Into the Spider-Verse, which is titled Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse. As far as superhero movies go, this was one of my favorites. The sequel looks almost too good to be true, I love this animation style!
It was also announced that that Spider-Verse follow-up is going to be split into two separate feature with a Part One, and a Part Two. Check out the teaser and synopsis, then we will get more into it:
Here’s the synosis:
Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar®-winning Spider-Verse saga, an epic adventure that will transport Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man across the Multiverse to join forces with Gwen Stacy and a new team of Spider-People to face off with a villain more powerful than anything they have ever encountered.
There you have it folks, I am sold. Oscar Isaac will be voicing Miguel O’Hara, aka Spider-Man 2099, as he did in the first film. I love the fact that the animation changes as Miles enters this new universe. I am glad that they didn’t get into the bigger plot and villain situation because I love the anticipation of what will come out of this movie.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is being directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K. Thompson, and it was written by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller, with David Callaham. As it stands, the release date is October 7th, 2022, exclusively in theaters.
I cannot wait to see this movie, they have really set the bar high for animated movies and I am sure they are going to continue to break new ground in the genre. Let us know what you think.
