First Look at she Crawley Family in the Upcoming Film DOWNTON ABBEY: A NEW ERA
A very brief teaser has been released for the anticipated film Downton Abbey: A New Era, which will take up back into the lives of the Crawley family as they enter into a new period in their lives. The teaser reveals that fans will get to see an exclusive trailer for the film this weekend at the opening of the movie Belfast.
The teaser alludes to the romance and nuptials between Tom Branson (Allen Leech) and Lucy Smith (Tuppence Middleton), as well as an adventure at sea, and a new style among the family elite. We also got a few new photos which you can check out that include Laura Carmichael as Edith Pelham with Bertie (Harry Hadden-Paton), Tom, and Lucy, Lady Mary (Michelle Dockery) and her father, Lord Robert Crawley (Hugh Bonneville), as well as Daisy (Sophie McShera) and Mrs. Patmore (Lesley Nicol), and a sneak peek at Laura Haddock making her debut into the world of Downton as Myrna Dalgleish alongside Michael Fox as the footman, Andy.
The film will also welcome back Elizabeth McGovern as Cora Crawley and Maggie Smith as Violet Crawley. Though we know very little about the plot, creator Julian Fellowes has promised an "unashamedly feel-good movie."
Downton Abbey: A New Era is slated for release on March 18, 2022.
