First Look at the Main Characters from THE BOYS Prequel Series VOUGHT RISING
As The Boys gears up for its explosive final season in 2026, Amazon Prime is already setting the stage for what's next in its growing franchise with a prequel series titled Vought Rising. This upcoming show is set to reveal the shadowy history of Vought International and show how it cemented its grip on the world of supes.
The first official images from Vought Rising have been revealed, and fans will be happy to see the return of Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy, only this time, we’re seeing him in his prime as the “heroic” face of American patriotism in the 1950s.
His presence will be front and center as the story unfolds in an era when Vought was still shaping the corrupt foundations we see in the present timeline of The Boys.
The new character lineup also includes Mason Dye as Bombsight, Elizabeth Posey as Private Angel, and Will Hochman as Torpedo. Each looks like they'll bring a unique edge to the twisted superhero roster fans have come to expect from this universe.
Notably missing from the first-look images is Aya Cash’s Stormfront, but don’t worry, she’s a key part of the series.
According to reports, Vought Rising will explore her complex history as Nazi Germany’s super-powered icon during WWII and delve into her post-war presence in the U.S. where she crosses paths with Soldier Boy. Expect a tense and disturbing dynamic between the two, especially considering their very different ideas of nationalism and power.
The series doesn't have an official release date yet, but it’s currently in production. Until then, fans can look forward to Gen V Season 2 arriving next month, while the countdown to The Boys final season continues.
