First Look at THE STRANGERS 2 With a New Title, Release Date, and Story Details
I'm sure you all remember the 2008 home invasion horror thriller The Strangers. I thought the movie was actually really good. Well, there's be a sequel in development for awhile and today we have a photo giving us our first look. It features a familiar plastic masked killer.
The movie has a solid cast that includes Christina Hendricks, Martin Henderson, Bailee Madison, and Lewis Pullman. We can see Madison's character in the photo above being hunted down by one of the killers. Things don't look good for her.
We've also learned that the official title of the movie will be called Strangers: Prey at Night and that it will be released on March 9th, 2018. Oh, and here's the official synopsis for the film!
A family’s road trip takes a dangerous turn when they arrive at a secluded mobile home park to stay with some relatives and find it mysteriously deserted. Under the cover of darkness, three masked psychopaths pay them a visit to test the family’s every limit as they struggle to survive.
The sequel comes from director Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down) from a script co-written by original Strangers director Bryan Bertino. I'm looking forward to seeing how the movie turns out and I hope it's good!
