First Look at THE WALKING DEAD Season 10 Finale Coming to AMC on October 4th! - Comic-Con@Home Panel

We finally have a date for the season 10 finale of The Walking Dead! Episode 16, titled A Certain Doom, was supposed to air on AMC back in April, but the pandemic shut down the studios and the finale was not yet edited. We still have two and a half months until we will get to see it, but I’m just happy to have a date to look forward to.

In the clip shared in the Comic-Con@Home panel, you’ll see the building that was teased in the first sneak peak that was released back in April, where our heroes are taking refuge. But the craziest part is the pan out at the end that shows the sheer size of the horde that Beta and the remaining Whisperers have brought to the fight. It’s like the population of a city! I really don’t know how we are going to see them get out of this alive, but I can’t wait to see it!

Other big news that was shared in the panel was that this episode will actually not be the final episode in the season. AMC revealed that the season will actually include six additional episodes that will air early in 2021. Production is expected to begin later this year. The series has been renewed for an 11th season, but the airing of that season has been pushed back to Fall 2021. This will be shot next April-November.

Check out the whole panel below, and watch the trailer for the Season 10 finale right at the beginning of the discussion. Then let us know if you’re looking forward to the Season 10 wrap up, “A Certain Doom,” on AMC on October 4th!
