First Look at Tom Holland as Nathan Drake in The UNCHARTED Movie and Nolan North Spotted on the Set

Tom Holland has shared a photo from the set of the film adaptation of Uncharted, giving us our first look at him in the role of a young Nathan Drake. He comes complete with the game-accurate gear and a slightly smug look on his face.

There are also a couple of other photos that were shared. One of them features Nolan North, the voice of Nathan Drake in the games, hanging out with Holland. Another image features an image of an ornate sword plunged into the ground. And that comes with a third photo of an open book featuring a portrait of 16th Century Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan and a quote of his: “Meet the shadowy future without fear and conquer the unknown.”

Check out the images below and let us know what you think of Holland’s Nathan Drake look.

Ruben Fleischer (Venom) is directing the film, and Holland is joined by Mark Wahlberg as Sully, Antonio Banderas, Sophia Ali, and The 100 actor Tati Gabrielle.

The movie is set to tell the story of a young Nathan Drake before he becomes the badass treasure hunter from the game. Nathan Drake is known for his adventures across the world as he uncovers various historical mysteries. Sully is his mentor.

When previously talking about the film, Holland said that it is one of the best scripts he’s ever read:

“I think what Uncharted offers that most video games films don't is that it's an origin story to the games. So if you played the games, you haven't seen what's going to happen in the film. And if you haven't played the games, you're going to enjoy the film because it's information that everyone else is getting at the same time. But I'm super excited to make that movie and it's been a long time coming.

“I read the newest draft of the script on the way over here and it's one of the best scripts I've ever read. It really, really jumps off the page.”

Art Marcum and Matt Holloway wrote the most recent draft of the script. Are you looking forward to this movie and the direction that they are taking it?
