First Look Footage from THE LAST OF US Season 2
HBO has shared the first footage from The Last of Us Season 2 giving us a brief first look at what’s in store for the next chapter of the story.
The teaser features several characters from the upcoming season, but it focuses on Joel being interrogated about his decision to save Ellie at the end of Season 1.
The series takes place 20 years after modern civilization has been destroyed by a deadly virus. Joel, a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie, a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone to the Fireflies, a cure-searching organization.
What starts as a small job soon becomes a brutal, heartbreaking journey, as they both must traverse across the U.S. and depend on each other for survival.
The series stars Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey, Gabriel Luna, and Rutina Wesley. New cast members for Season 2 include Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, Young Mazino as Jesse, Ariela Barer as Mel, Tati Gabrielle as Nora, Spencer Lord as Owen, and Danny Ramirez as Manny.
Catherine O’Hara also guest stars in a secret role and Jeffrey Wright joined the cast taking on the role of Isaac. Both of which you get to see in the video.
