First Look Images of Jennifer Love Hewitt, Freddie Prinze Jr. and Cast From I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER Sequel
Jennifer Love Hewitt (Can’t Hardly Wait, 9-1-1) has shared some first look photos from her upcoming sequel, I Know What You Did Last Summer, a third film in the franchise.
She returns alongside original co-star Freddie Prinze Jr., who is also featured in one of the photos. Another photo includes some of the young cast members featured in the film. The cast includes Chase Sui Wonders, Madelyn Cline, Sarah Pidgeon, Tyriq Withers, Jonah Haur-King, Lola Tung, Nicholas Alexander Chavez, Austin Nichols and Gabbriette.
The slasher flick’s synopsis reads:
“When five friends inadvertently cause a deadly car accident, they cover up their involvement and make a pact to keep it a secret rather than face the consequences. A year later, their past comes back to haunt them and they’re forced to confront a horrifying truth: someone knows what they did last summer…and is hell-bent on revenge.
“As one by one the friends are stalked by a killer, they discover this has happened before, and they turn to two survivors of the legendary Southport Massacre of 1997 for help.”
This sounds like the original with a fresh new cast. I’m sure it will deliver a fun revival for fans of the genre. Check out the new photos below, and watch I Know What You Did Last Summer when it hits theaters on July 18, 2025.
