Netflix has finally released a first look photo of Lady Gaga in her new role in the Netflix series Wednesday, which is returning for part two of season two this week.

Gaga is set to play the new character Rosaline Rotwood, “a legendary Nevermore teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday.”

In the series, the singer will debut a new song, “The Dead Dance,” alongside the new episodes. During an event promoting the show with star Jenna Ortega, she told the crowd, “I had a wonderful time working on Wednesday Season Two, even just being a small part of the show.

“I loved working with Tim Burton and Jenna and everyone here, it’s so incredible. Thank you. I’m also here to confirm my song ‘The Dead Dance’ is coming.”

Wednesday Season Two, Part Two will also feature the return of Gwendoline Christie’s Principal Weems, who died in Season One. A teaser for the episodes showcases Weems as Wednesday’s new “spirit guide.”

A Season 2 synopsis reads, “Desperate to avert her prophecy and save Enid’s life, Wednesday reopens a dark chapter in her family’s history — with direct ties to Tyler.”

Along with Christie and Lady Gaga, Season Two guest stars include Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, Jamie McShane, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, Joonas Suotamo, Fred Armisen, Christopher Lloyd, and Frances O’Connor. New cast members include Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor.
